At the West Virginia DiaperPlus Initiative (WVDPI), we believe no family should have to choose between groceries and diapers. Through community partnerships, advocacy, and support, we help families across West Virginia access free diapers, wipes, and other essential supplies.

About Us
Our Story
WVDPI was founded by Carolina Aguilera, Lindsay Weglinski, and Heidi Sherwin, three longtime friends dedicated to supporting families in need. For over a decade, they informally provided diapers and essential supplies before officially launching WVDPI as a nonprofit to expand their impact. With backgrounds in community advocacy and leadership, their passion for service continues to drive WVDPI’s mission of helping families and strengthening communities.

We envision a future where no family struggles to afford diapers and every child has access to the basic essentials for a healthy start in life. By expanding our reach, building strong community partnerships, and raising awareness of diaper need, WVDPI strives to create lasting change and support families across West Virginia and beyond.
