At the West Virginia DiaperPlus Initiative (WVDPI), we believe no family should have to choose between basic needs. By partnering with local agencies, we provide free diapers and essential supplies to families in need.
Our mission is to alleviate financial burdens, ensure every baby has access to clean diapers, and strengthen our community through advocacy and support.
Free Diaper Supplies
WVDPI provides free diaper supplies to families in need by partnering with trusted community organizations. Our goal is to ensure that newborns and young children have consistent access to essential diapering items. By easing the financial strain on families, we help promote the health, dignity, and well-being of children. While WVDPI does not distribute diapers directly to families through this website, we work closely with local partners to make sure support reaches those who need it most.
Community Partnerships, Advocacy, and Education
WVDPI collaborates with local agencies to provide consistent, year-round support to families. We’re proud to have the backing of several community organizations that share our commitment to family well-being. About Us
Our Story
WVDPI was founded by Carolina Aguilera, Lindsay Weglinski, and Heidi Sherwin, three longtime friends dedicated to supporting families in need. For over a decade, they informally provided diapers and essential supplies before officially launching WVDPI as a nonprofit to expand their impact. With backgrounds in community advocacy and leadership, their passion for service continues to drive WVDPI’s mission of helping families and strengthening communities.

By expanding our reach, building strong community partnerships, and raising awareness of diaper need, WVDPI strives to create lasting change and support families across West Virginia and beyond.
